Hi, I am the proud owner of a red 1978 400GT. Presently performing a restoration on the engine & body. There is no rust, however I am going to perform a respray, as the side marker lights are being removed and some stone chips and scratches have to go. The interior is black and very well preserved. It will get detailed and the leather treated. I purchased the car from California and it now resides in Ontario, Canada.
Cheers,
Larry

Another Ontarioan on this board... what are the odds!

You're not near North Bay by any chance?

Hi, I'm in Erieau. It's about 30 minutes south of Chatham on Lake Erie.

That's just about as far from North Bay as you can get in the south and still be in Ontario so I guess I won't pop around for a ride! Though if you got the snow we did there wouldn't be any rides anyway. Gravenhurst got 4 feet(!)

Where do you get your F cars serviced down there? Is there an independent or do you go to the dealer?

It's +3 right now without snow. Pretty balmy for December.
Brett at Gran Turismo in Alliston, just north of Toronto does my work. Incidentally, he rebuilt my 308 engine & tranny last winter. He did such a good job, my V12 is in his shop right now getting rebuilt. I perform a lot of the work myself though.

Great link, thanks for the tip. He's only 3.5 hours from North Bay and I'd never heard of him.
